The Cape is great year ‘round, but "Summertime on the Cape" competes worldwide for it’s wonderful nature and beaches along Nantucket Sound and the National Seashore. Local fresh water ponds add to summer swimming. We are located less than a mile from the Sound. After a day at the beach, relax and enjoy our spacious deck and poolside area. Take a refreshing swim in our in-ground pool while munching on afternoon snacks. After dinner, don’t forget to stop at one of the several homemade ice cream shops in the Harwich area. Take in a Cape Cod Baseball League game featuring the Harwich Mariners at Whitehouse Field in Harwich Center.

A peaceful quietness comes over the Cape during the Fall with so much color and so much to do. Walks along the Beach, bike along Cape Cod Bike Trail, or visit historic Harwich Center. Take in a play or musical performed by local children at the Harwich Junior Theater (all year and great performances). Celebrate the annual Harwich Cranberry Festival in September.

Winter brings a different quietness and solitude to the Cape. Walk along the wintry beaches. Holidays in the Harwiches' include the Christmas Stroll, decorated Bed & Breakfast Tours and holiday sights abound. Come relax by our fireside, read a book, or enjoy a friendly game of chess with the innkeeper.
